ADE '25 is around the corner! Like always, I'll create visuals and written content (in both Dutch and English). Between October 22-26, I'm in the city centre all week, hopping between events. Let's make magic together!
Last year's run
For the past five years, I've been shooting visuals for events and panels at ADE. Last year, I upgraded my media package and additionally produced reviews of five days worth of ADE Events. Daily recaps of these events were published in collaboration with Maxazine, an international music magazine. In addition, almost all of my Dutch articles are now backed up here at ADE Pulse.
I'm extremely pleased with what we were able to accomplish last year. International artists like Todd Terry and renowned organizers like Dolby Atmos & MIXMAG offered me both trust and permission to capture their beautiful events in daily recaps for the Dutch audience. This year, I am committed to make even more impact.
What's the plan?
I am looking to create a filled calendar of events between Wednesday morning the 22nd and Sunday night the 26th, scattered with all kinds of ADE events to report on. These can range all the way from intimate expo's and listening sessions up to the biggest raves available. I'll come down to the event and create promotional material, often for use within the week.
What do you need?
My only ask is free entry to the event. For an event that spans multiple hours and requires me to be present the entire time, a beverage is appreciated.
What do you offer?
I will shoot photos of the event and if applicable, write up a promotional piece in English (or in Dutch if preferred). From the photos shot, I'll pick one or two promo shots for the article to be published with the promotional piece. Both the promo shots and the written article are then also for free use by the party that provided me with entry, and any subsidiaries that are acknowledged by that party.
Can we get more photos?
In past years, I've had organizers ask me to provide a larger set of event photos, often because I was the only photographer present. I am definitely open to discussing a reasonable arrangement.
Please also know that I will charge an equally reasonable fee if I am requested to spend extra hours editing more photos during ADE week. Some organizers expect a full album of professional photos in exchange for a €50 entry ticket. That's not a reasonable ask, and doubly so during Amsterdam Dance Event.
Can I see more of your written work?
Of course! Here on ADE Pulse, you will find Dutch articles from ADE 2024. In addition, here are links to published English articles on past concerts:

Great, really glad to hear that. If I hadn't already sent you an email containing this page, please contact me ASAP through this email address. Even in the event week itself, I can still let you know if a slot is available. I came through clutch on a number of pop-up events in the past years, so never hesitate to ask.
Thanks for your time, and please enjoy a safe and amazing ADE 2025!
